1. I printed out THIS grid paper on card stock paper. Students started at the bottom and drew the angled ground line that tilts up. Add buildings on top, and tops of trees below.
2. Draw the second hill line that tilts down. Add building, trees and cars, all sitting on top.
3. Draw another tilted ground line that is the bottom of the lake. Draw the top edge of the lake and boat and more inside.
4. Draw the top hill angled down to the right. Add trees, trace all with a black Sharpie. I really enjoyed coloring in my picture with Rembrandt Polycore Pencils from Prang, who sampled me with a 12 box set. I loved the rich color, and the two shades of green and blue. I think these pencils would be great for the serious art student who wants to get the most color from their supplies.
