Michaels RE-Love Blogger Challenge

Here is my finished repurposing of an old cigar box for my Michaels RE-Love it Challenge. I love making some rather generic looking art products (like foam letters) look artsy, without spending a lot of money.

To summarize, I stuck peel off foam letters on a cigar box and painted it white. I added a layer of acrylic black, then dark blue, then light blue paint, giving it time to dry in between. The last addition was purple glitter paint that is pictured on THIS post. Thank you Michaels, for sponsoring this project and your message on the importance of recycling.

I love it! I've been hanging on to a few cigar boxes- wondering what to do them that is simple and involves very little time (materials).

I love the projects you come up with!
