This sample was colored with Prismacolor® Colored Pencils. The students traced their hands on the pre-printed templates, filled in the hands with warm colors, and the background with complementary cool colors.

My daughter and a friend did this project yesterday, along with a little color wheel study. It was a hit. Thank you.

I did this project with my 2nd grade class for open house. It was a big hit. It was challenging for 2nd graders, but we worked through it slowly and systematically.

i think it looks like a thermal imaging camera, and i like what i see!
Do they trace their own arms/do the background themselves for this or is it coloring pages to discuss color use?
