I got a lot of matte board donated from a local picture framer, but any smooth chip board would do. Cut the board into 5" x 7" sections; one per student.3. Ask the students to draw one large heart in the middle of the card, and then 3 or 4 straight lines from edge to edge that dissect the card into sections. 4. All the sections that are made from the dissection are to be colored in with different Sharpie markers.

This looks like a great idea! I bet kids could take it to another level, by perhaps making layers of cardboard or textures on the cardboard/matte board before putting the foil on!
